Selenium is an essential factor for maintaining healthy body cells and tissues. Selenium and Vitamin E work synergistically to enhance the protection of cell membranes from peroxidative damage. This stems from glutathione's enhancement of Vitamin E's redox activity. Similarly, glutathione can reduce oxidized Vitamin C, which in turn reduces Vitamin E in cell membranes.

Ingredients
Selenium (yeast)........200 mcg

Non-medicinal ingredients: Dicalcium phosphate dihydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, vegetable grade magnesium stearate (lubricant)

Recommended Dosage
(Adults) 1 tablet daily or as directed by a physician.

Caution
If you have a history of non-melanoma skin cancer, consult a doctor before use. Keep out of reach of children.

Adverse Reactions: Selenium intake not exceeding 200 mcg per day will not cause toxicity.

Selenium toxicity can lead to hair and nail loss, and damage to the skin, nervous system, and teeth.
