Their story began in 1945 when pharmacist Louis Schleuse developed a lightweight lotion. It was named LUBRIDERM® to emphasize its moisturizing and dermatological benefits. Over the next few decades, their brand was used by dermatologists, hospitals, and pharmacists to treat rough or itchy, dry skin.
